On the shortest day and longest night of the year we celebrate Yule, the winter solstice. In the deep darkness of solstice Yule, like many holidays at this time of year, is a festival of light. Candles and bonfires and twinkle lights warm our homes and our spirits. It is a time to give thanks for lessons of the dark, and to welcome the rebirth of the Sun and the return of longer days. It is a time to gather in community with stories, song, and dance to keep each other’s spirits bright through the longest night.

Along with our online ritual, we're trying something new to accommodate more schedules and make sure everyone has the opportunity to make magic with us! The working from our online ritual will be available in a recorded format from December 12th-22nd so you can join us whenever is convenient for you within that time frame. We'll be having online community discussions about ritual on our new discord server.
